Cuban/Haitian Entrants

A Cuban/Haitian entrant is a Cuban or Haitian national who is legally United States but has not received a permanent status. Cuban/Haitian entrants are eligible for the same services as refugees and can apply for Legal Permanent Resident status (green card) after one year and U.S. citizenship after five years in the U.S.
